First of all, we at the ThinkTank would like to apologize for not being able to publish an issue last month. We’ve been occupied with brainstorming for ideas and ways to serve you better, and we will need you to keep us in prayer as we look at some internal restructuring.
But nevertheless, we are back – with another issue filled with articles that we hope will challenge and equip you! Here’s a peek into what we have for you this issue:
- In For Her and For Him, the hobbies that we feature this month are skateboarding (for the guys) and collecting memories (for the girls). We’ve also surveyed guys and girls your age to ask them what they find attractive in the opposite sex.
- In Grub for the Shrub, we talk about what passion and what “God’s will” for our lives really mean. We also feature a young writer whose move to Australia taught her what really depending on God is all about.
- In Insider, we’ve got two awesome book reviews for you to check out, a list of movies based on books that you should watch if reading novels aren’t your cup of tea, and finally, challenging and inspiring words from young people who went on a mission trip to an orang asli community in Slim River.
- Finally, in Stuff, we have two thought-provoking fiction pieces for you to chew on – written from other perspectives we don’t usually consider.
As we round the bend towards the second half of the year, it’s time for many of us to start pulling up our socks and studying hard for the year end exams. If you get too stressed out from all that studying, go for a walk or get some exercise to rejuvenate! Incidentally, the second week of July is “Therapeutic Recreation Week” – so get moving and you will find that you’ll study a lot better! Or, you could read our articles to de-stress as well. =)
We hope that in the midst of all the studying and all the other activities we have to juggle on our plates, the articles in this issue will encourage you and spur you on!
Have a great July ahead!
-Crystal
